The $0 Smartphone

Until the last few months the data plans required for smartphones in Canada have been a little too expensive for the average consumer. With prices plummeting, a good number of Canadians (myself included) are looking to jump in to the smartphone phenomenon this fall. What better way to do that than with a zero dollar commitment?

The HTC Touch, one of last years hottest devices, is now available free of charge with a 3-year contract at both Telus and Bell. Telus is also offering $30 unlimited email, IM and surfing. Running Windows Mobile 6, the HTC Touch is the perfect entry-level device for those looking to jump into the smartphone phenomenon.
