Getting Started With Google Reader

Google has posted a guide for people who have just started using Reader, its RSS feeds aggregator. It's a handy tutorial if you want to know more about it or you're looking to spread the word. Aside from the video above, a guide is also now available.

The Google Reader Team is proud to introduce several new help resources designed specifically at introducing beginners to using Reader: Google Reader Help Videos and the Google Reader Getting Started Guide, both accessible directly from our Help Center.

What makes Google Reader convenient is that all you need is a Google account. There's no setup required, no software to install. Once you've got your initial subscriptions added, you'll be able to satisfy the news junkie in you instantly. Another advantage is that your feeds and settings are saved on your account, so it doesn't matter which computer you use. Since it's not software-based, Google Reader will work the same way regardless of what computer you're using.

Hit the source for more information. Believe me, the only reason why you shouldn't have an RSS reader is that if you don't have enough websites to visit.
