Crystalline Speakers

There was a time when clear was the new black. This was when major manufacturers were coming up with "clear" products, like Crystal Pepsi. It seems silly now, but someone forgot to tell Harman Kardon that, so now we have new crystal speakers that seem to be designed by those who love geometry a bit too much.

Only two to three thousand are going to be made and priced at £500. Within the crystal speakers lay a 56 watt per speaker digital amplifier, DSP equalization all traveling out to a 3.5mm output. So yes, sadly, these bookshelves will be found on your desk, tied down to your computer or iPod.

No release date information has been announced yet, so in the off-chance that you're excited about this thing, you're going to have to wait till the holiday season to find out.
